Auto parts industry: quality decides survival

In recent years, China's automobile manufacturing industry has grown at an average speed of 24.5%. In 2013, the production and sales of complete vehicles in China have exceeded 5 million, and it is expected to exceed 20 million in the whole year. With the rapid growth of China's car ownership, the auto parts industry has been developing rapidly.

Under this market scale, there are about 350000 automobile maintenance enterprises in China at present, of which 250000 are only "roadside shops" for changing oil and three filters, and there are about 100000 relatively regular maintenance factories, while there are more than 700000 suppliers providing spare parts for these 350000 maintenance shops or enterprises. In this way, there are a large number of maintenance plants and parts suppliers in China. However, according to the experience of European and American automobile aftermarket, most of the enterprises will be integrated and eliminated, and the market will be controlled by a few large-scale enterprises.

To be in these few ranks, both the repairers and the parts suppliers are building their own brands. However, as the change of the maintenance plant in the end market, we should pay more attention to it. It is their promotion that will bring opportunities to the parts suppliers.

A brand maintenance factory with a certain scale does not give priority to "focusing on the supply channel of parts and the guarantee of profit space", but on "quality" of parts. The relevant association has made a survey on the concern of the maintenance plant for parts and components, and obtained the following data: the concern value of the maintenance plant for parts and components is 90%, ranking first; the concern value of rapid distribution is 85%; the concern value of after-sales service is 70%; and the concern value of supply channel and profit space guarantee is 45%, ranking second.

According to the analysis, with the gradual maturity of Chinese consumers and the clear and inelastic regulations of the "Three Guarantees law" on the automobile after-sales service market, higher service requirements are put forward for automobile maintenance enterprises. These requirements are directly reflected in the strict regulations on the quality of parts, combined with other factors such as "quality can bring profits", Therefore, the quality of parts becomes the priority of the maintenance enterprises who want to be brand.

The European Union exhibition area has become the winner of this exhibition with the good reputation of auto parts quality over the years. According to the introduction of relevant people, the price of raw materials such as rubber and steel for auto parts is constantly falling, which will reduce the cost pressure of enterprises and increase profits, and will also constitute a new good for auto parts companies. The quality of raw materials determines the quality of auto parts, and the quality of auto parts determines the fate of the industry.
